My Story

Named after the Charlie Daniels Band, Bob Dylan, and a black lab named Cody… I was destined to make bad decisions.

I’ve had a guitar in my hands since before I could walk. My dad played guitar and sang out in local bars and inspired me to play. I used to stand on the fireplace mantle and play along to ZZ top pretending I was playing to the masses, but its been a long road from that fireplace stage. Growing up I never thought music would take me anywhere so I bounced around a few jobs from cook to mechanic to snow plow driver but those neon lights just kept callin’ me home. I never gave up on music though, I’ve been playing shows and working a full time job for a few years now but its finally time I stopped ignoring my calling. As of July 4th, 2023 I’m going full time working for myself, playing music, a true independence day! So come follow my journey and watch the shit show unfold, live and uncensored…
